Pharmacy
Based in Edinburgh, our client approached Crescent Retail Design to achieve 2 full refurbishments corresponding for both of their pharmacies; Marchmont & Ratho.
During the design stage, we took inspiration from Marchmont' s historic charm of the original stained glass windows, cornices and incorporated a modern twist to create a unique, apothecary style pharmacy that is both efficient and inviting.
With the large shopfront windows and tall ceilings our design team wanted to create a truly eye-catching display to entice customers into the shop. To achieve this, we designed a ceiling centrepiece of foliage and LED lights that tied in with the apothecary theme. The result is a truly unique and unforgettable display that is sure to catch the eye of any passerby.
The focal point of the retail space was the bespoke counter, designed with faux drawer fronts and brass handles to replicate the ornate style of the apothecary theme. Walnut wood was used extensively throughout the design, with the retail units set against pistachio green frames to uplift the wood, highlighting the light stone flooring, and creating a warm and welcoming environment. We are delighted with the results and are proud to showcase this case study project.
